The Counselors Committee reviews issues and concerns of counselors throughout the district. The committee consists of high school, middle school and elementary counselors and meets monthly. Meetings are open to ALL counselors. The committee holds follow-up meetings with ASD administration to address issues of mutual concern. They report to the AEA President and Negotiations Committee. This committee meets the third Wednesday of each month at 4:40pm in the NEA-Alaska/AEA Offices.
